Mahodadhi Gents’ Hostel
Mahodadhi Gents’ Hostel is the residential facility of Dr. Abhin Chandra Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital, Bhubaneswar, providing a comfortable, affordable and well-maintained home-away-from-home for UG students, House surgeons, and Resident doctors.
Located within the college campus, immediately behind the hospital, the hostel provides easy access to the academic and clinical facilities of the institution. It has 45 accommodation rooms, comprising 22 single-bed rooms, 20 double-bed rooms and 3 dormitories with 6 beds each, with an overall residential capacity of up to 80 residents.
The hostel is equipped with a common room, dining hall, spacious kitchen and mess facility, with two experienced cooks providing regular meal services. Residents have access to adequate toilets and bathrooms, sufficient water supply and 24×7 electricity, along with regular upkeep and annual maintenance of the building and facilities.
The hostel also offers a pleasant and green environment, with a dedicated kitchen garden alongside the building and a flower garden at the front.
Hostel administration is overseen by the Hostel Superintendent, Prefect and Assistant Prefect, ensuring proper discipline, maintenance and resident welfare. Hostel admission is generally conducted along with the college admission process, with minimal and affordable charges covering applicable electricity, water, establishment, mess and cooking expenses.
