The institution is fully Govt. running under Directorate of Indian Medicines and Homoeopathy, Dept. of Health and Family Welfare, Govt. of Orissa.
The chief of the institution is the Principal-cum-Superintendent. The internal administration and management in relation to the U.G. and P.G. students are vested with the H.O.Ds of the concerned departments under the control of Principal. The hospital is managed by the Principal-cum-Superintendent with the consultation of D.M.O. of the hospital.
The institute has a governing body constituted by the Govt., Health & Family Welfare Dept. to look after the management of the college. The term of the governing body shall be 3 years.
