Dr. A. C. Homoeopathic Medical College and Hospital, Bhubaneswar is a premier institution dedicated to quality education, research, clinical service, and the advancement of homoeopathic medical practice.

Institution Overview

Dr. Abhin Chandra Homoeopathic Medical College and Hospital (ACHMCH), located in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, is one of India's premier public homoeopathic medical institutions. Established in 1969, it holds a landmark position in AYUSH education as the country's first institution designated as a State Model Homoeopathic College by the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India.

Initially founded as the Government Homoeopathic Medical College and Hospital, it was later renamed in honour of Dr. Abhin Chandra Rao. The institute is a pioneer in postgraduate homoeopathic education, having been the first in India to introduce regular PG degree courses (M.D. Homoeopathy) under a government setup.

Special Recognition

This college has also been identified as the nodal centre for the “Healthy Mother and Happy Child Programme” launched by the Department of AYUSH, Government of India.
